Achieving more effective paper dust removing with less air capacity

The MF Paper Dust Removing System has completely changed the concept which had been regarded as "paper dust is sucked and brought" up to now.
The function of blow box which be adopted in this system, is not only “to suck”. It also introduces a unique way which by blowing high-speed air into the paper with a special way, the paper will be drown near the blow box, and the paper dust will be “patted”.
Because of that, it is compared to the suction of the conventional suction box or a hood type, the MF Paper Dust Removing System can achieve more effective paper dust removing with less air capacity.

The environmental pollution owing to paper dust in the paper factory is a serious problem in the aspect of hygiene or fire prevention. In addition, it is not only the biggest cause of trouble occurring while printing, but also it is asked for prompt response as one of the most difficult problem. The MF Paper Dust Removing System is redeveloped with the Japanese factory environment which had accumulated many experiences and achievements based on the technology of FLECT CORPERATION. This system always guarantees a clean environment and high quality of products.

The Structure of Blow Box

The blow box has a double structure with high pressure box and suction box. The high-speed air obliquely blows into the paper from the nozzle of the high pressure box, and draws the paper near to the blow box, thereby the paper dust will be pulled out. Besides, by the box which sucked the paper dust, the surrounding air will be sucked together. In addition, an electrostatic removal brush is placed in the front of the blow box and make the separating paper dust more easily from the paper surface.

Why is the paper that be blown air drawn toward the blow box side?

The high-speed air which be blown obliquely to the paper surface (wind speed is 40 to 60 m / sec at the exit of the blow-air nozzle), forms a high-speed flow along the paper surface, as a result, the negative pressure will be caused. And this negative pressure will become the force which is drawing the paper toward the blow box side. Moreover, this blow box which blows air can also work as a kind of air table. Therefore, the paper surface does not rub the blow box directly, because no resistance, it`s not necessary to worry about damaging the paper surface or breaking off the paper.

By using a trough type dust collecting box, the dust such as paper dust scraped off by a creping doctor, brush roll, is continuously collected.

The Structure of the Trough Type Dust Collecting Box

It is a method of collecting dust on the continuous air flow which be created by the air from the nozzle at the bottom of the trough. And the negative pressure averaged over the entire trough will be generated. Therefore, there is no unevenness of dust collection effect which tends to occur in the dust collecting trough by the suction fan only as usual.

The dust such as the paper dust which be sucked by blow box and trough type dust collecting box, is removed by more than 95% in bubbling zone inside wet scrubber, and collected as white water. In addition, the cleaned air can be reduces in the factory and be recycled.

  • Both the blow box and the trough type dust collecting box are all made of stainless steel and have a simple structure. Because considering the shape, setting method, detachment device in current status, or the operability while threading the paper, flexible design and manufacture will be possible.
  • Of course, both an existing and a new machine can be designed flexibly.
  • Fans, scrubbers and other processing devices can be installed away from the paper dust collection.
  • In the case of small capacities, the dry scrubbers can also be selected.
  • This system has already more than 100 sets of delivery results in Japan.
